What is the IDEAL Ward?

The IDEAL Ward is an expansion of Evanston Rules. It is a microcosm of stories delving into Evanston Rules’ value words: Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Acceptance and Love (IDEAL). To be seen and heard is paramount to having an IDEAL Ward.

In the guests’ conversations we share on our Evanston Rules podcast, we regularly return to formative moments, especially while in school and growing up in Evanston. 

Representation is and always has been important to provide support, care, and understanding to those who have been disenfranchised and whose achievements, goals and dreams are not heard or seen often enough. 

Our goal is to hear from people about how they are being affected and give such voices a platform to be projected and heard by a wider audience.
